Training

Training is offered in two phases with the Business Enterprise Program.

Classroom

The first phase is eight weeks of classroom training and must be successfully completed before you can be licensed. Here you learn the rules and regulations of the program, financial management, marketing, merchandising and management techniques.

On-the-Job

The second phase is eight weeks of on-the-job training. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced group of licensed vendors who will show you the finer points of operating your own business and allow you to polish and practice the skills you learned in class. This phase concludes with the completion of a formal business plan prior to graduation.
